im hoping they open up with showing the deatheaters continuing reign of terror in the wizarding world and then cut to the ministry of magic where scrimgeour gives his speech
I think it would be kind of a repeat of the HBP opening. Scrimgeour's speech could be very powerful. Just by reading the report of him saying "Your Ministry remains strong" sends chills down my spine.
This is my prediction on how it will open: WB logo zooming like always while we hear Draco, Dumbledore, Snape, in the tower.. then we get to see the same scene.. then Snape kills Dumbledore, and then Bellatrix makes the Dark Mark in the sky, then we zoom into the Dark Mark, then we see HARRY POTTER AND THE DH then we see flahes of cameras in the title then we see al the journalists taking photographs, then we see Scrimegour heading to them, then he gives the speech to all the journalists and the workers of the ministry, he talks about the terrible loss of Dumbledore, then we see get to hear a familiar voice about Dumbledore not being that great, all the journalists and ppl are looking at Rita Skeeter while talking about Dumbledore, this makes a huge fuzz between the journalists, then we see a blond guy (the one that appears in the trailers and that is a DE) between all these ppl and he retires slowly. It cuts to the scene to outside of the malfoy manor were the blond guy is heading to and then there we see snape, and they both enter to the malfoy manor, and then the next scenes are as in the book
its just that I aspire to be a filmmaker, so I give a lot of thought to it, if I were the director, I would have done it in that way haha one of my hobbies is to analyze deeply the books, movies, and how the books are adapted into the movies
This would've been the opening scene if I was the director :
WB logo appears, and as we zoom through it we see an empty street at night. A cat pounces on a garbage can and it crashes down, making a loud noise. A blonde man's silhouette enters the street. He walks along the garbage can and looks at a dark figure coming closer to him. Severus Snape's pale stony face can now be seen under the light from the street lamps.
Black. Cut to ministry.
Camera's flashing, and a man with a lion-like mane,wearing a black suit, walks through the crowd.
Black. Cut to street.
Yaxley : News?
Snape : The best.
Black. Cut to ministry.
The minister now stands in front of a crowd of journalist, ministry workers and other wizards. He adresses them.
Minister- With immense regret, I'd like to inform you of the sad demise of Prof. Albus Dumbledore, a respected wizard, and a great supporter of the ministry till his last days. As to how this happened, we have no information. However, we have launched an enquiry and we will provide you with all the information we have, soon.
Black. Cut to street.
Yaxley : It was you? But the task was for Draco and for Draco only.
Snape : If it was or it wasnt, does not matter. What matters is that the biggest threat to the Dark Lord now lies dead at the foot of the Astronomy tower.
Cut to Ministry
Minister - The dark forces are attempting to penetrate the wizarding world yet again, and will continue to do so. We are currently under the threat of a wizard who we all know of and therefore we must take caution. But the public need not worry, because we, the ministry are prepared. Well prepared.

Side view of a dead Dumbledore, silver hair in his face, eyes gently closed. In the background, silhouette of many wizards crowding. Dark storm clouds converge, more thunder clouds and we hear the gentle words of Albus Dumbledore: "Trust me...." Back in the storm clouds, we cut to:
INT. MINISTRY OF MAGIC - ATRIUM
Back view of Rufus Scrimgeour, walking steadily through a mob of reporters and flashing cameras. 1 particularly large flash and we see his face, scarred and chiseled.
"Mister Minister, sir," a deep voice cries out. "THINGS ARE WORSE THAN EVER."
Steady voice rings out in the night. "Times...may be dark. But our Ministry remains strong. The dawn is coming."
Another reporter's voice: "How can we guarantee your word? What of the war?"
Scrimgeour turns towards us. "We will fight back! The battles have been prepared for, and the plans....drawn."
Within the mob of reporters, we focus on one sallow-skinned, black haired man...TURNS towards camera, but after the slightest glimpse, reveals SEVERUS SNAPE. And we quickly
CUT TO:
Stormy clouds, tense music escalates while the HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS LOGO drifts towards us. A cold, dreaded voice, possibly VOLDEMORT, rings out in the distance: "One flaw....one simple flaw in the plan....can change everything." GLIDE THROUGH THE LOGO, and music is at breaking point, SUDDENLY--
CUT TO:
Rain patters down on a street, making oddly-shaped puddles and sprinkler-like movements of water across dark, slick drive. Pale bushes line the street, while the outline of a large MANOR house springs out of the darkness. Street is lit by one single danky lamp, which flickers.
TWO CLOAKED figures walk slowly, side by side. One pulls down hood, revealing sallow-faced SNAPE.
"NEWS?" raspy voice from inside the other hood asks. "The best," replies Snape.
CUT TO:
Inside Malfoy Manor, cold environment, CAMERA peeks inside two open doors to a long table (SIDE VIEW) with dim lights above.

A nice calm looking hogwarts appears,then the camera backs off and reveals the WB logo( Hogwarts is IN the logo and by this time,the hogwarts figure now looks sad and dark....) Voldemort: Hogwarts. It was my first home.....my first TRUE home......
Cut to HOGWARTS,young Tom reading book (voldy speaks) Voldemort:that is where i learned everything.....it is the place that braught me my immortality...... Young tom reads the word horcrux on the book.......
Cut to flashes of him recieving the horcruxes at different times.....
Cut to malfoy manor,Voldy at the head of the table......Voldemort:U see.....only i can live,Forever.......Tonight will be the end of Harry potter......Thanks to u Severus. He is after all the one who finished DUmbledore off, a task i had set for another "death eater"
Narcissa: My lord,hes just a boy.....
Voledomrt: Yet he knew what he was signing up for didnt u???? Malfoy looks down....Lucius discomforted
